People of Faith Rally in Support
The concern of the faithful, from many houses of worship, was immediate, with support coming from other churches, synagogues and mosques.
The American Muslim community, by way of the nonprofit organization Ummah Wide and three other Islamic groups,  raised nearly $90,000, while other believers from a cross-section of faiths raised a near $200,000 in support of the burned churches.
